New Possible World Record Whitetail Shot in Wisconsin
12/23/2008 3:06 pm

By: Chad McDonald- SNA Operations Mgr/Field Producer

Back in August of 2008, a monster whitetail buck was filmed on a low fence property in Buffalo County, WI and the whitetail world became a buzz with speculation that this monarch COULD be a new world record. Field and Stream Magazine even did a piece on the giant and it's potential soon after the buck was filmed. Well folks, the monster has fallen to Wisconsin bow hunter Bob Decker. No scores have been released and it is still up in the air weather or not he will be classified as a typical or non-typical but to this hunter...who cares! This is truly a special animal no matter what the outcome. Great job Bob! To read the full article at Field and Stream's news blog spot, please follow the link below.
