1911 Style Pistols

I am in the market for a new pisotl. I have tried a friends officer model Colt 1911. It was excellent to me. I am wondering if anyone has tried the other styles made by other manufacturers. There is a lot of them out there and I am partial to not spending a grand on one.

I own a Taurus 1911 and love it. Spent alot of time looking over articles about 1911s and saw more than one writer rate the Taurus high. And I believe I only spent about $625 for it.

The 1911 is a fine pistol , I have had most of them that are on the market today , and new ones are coming out all the time . Some are better than others and you don't have to pay a bunch to get a nice one that will shoot well. Like the Taurus it has super reviews and low cost and shoot very well.

For my CWL, I carry a S&W 1911 45 ACP with Crimson Trace laser grips all the time and I love it.

Hey Denny! Funny thing is I have been looking at the 45 acp 1911 and just havent found the one I want yet. Partly because of price. I would just pack it once in a while so I don't wanna invest too much money into one.  Looking for a good used one.

I got too shoot a Ruger, Glock, and Springfield. Bought the XDM Spingfield. It just felt better pulling the trigger.
