Greetings from South Texas. Hi I'm Daniel Alcocer and I've been hunting the South Texas Brush Country since I was a little Rattler. I spent most of my life working for Broadcast Television Stations specializing in Commercial production. I also have been doing Aerial Photography for about 20 years. I love the outdoors and I spend most of my time in the brush teaching my teenage boys how to survive and enjoy the beauty of the Cactus, Mesquite and our dear friend the Rattlesnake :) It's an honor to share our thoughts and experiences with all of you. God Bless !!

I have lived my hole life in the thumb area of michigan (42 years) I've been hunting since I was old enough to keep up with my dad, uncles, and grandfather god rest his sole. Whitetail hunting has always been my passion but have made two trips too Quebec for caribou on a do it yourself hunt and I'm looking into a trip somewhere out west for mule deer, whitetail , antelope, or elk. I really don't care on the species just want to experience a different type of adventure and terrian. Have three children, two boys and one girl. The youngest boy is eleven and he is a hunting nut like his old man. If he not out scouting in our woods he is over at a buddies house looking for sign in thiers. My wife pretty sure the only clothes he has are camo because that is all he wears. I think she is right!

I'm Bob from Upper Michigan and just resently joined this site. I like to hunt whitetails with my PSE bow, 300 WSM, and my Knight black powder rifle. Looking to get back into partridge, and rabbit hunting, I'm also going to try blackbear hunting (bow & rifle).

Hi, Jim from way down south the last spot on the main land before the Fla. Keys. I'm one of those late bloomers as well. I did some hunting with my dad as a kid (realizing now we had no idea what we where doing) Moved down here in 86 (USAF brought me here and a beautiful girl kept me here) Love the area, the fishing is the best. I got back into hunting about 6 years ago when my brother in law got a lease in central Fla. He did it for his 4 boys(he does not hunt) I went one time and was hooked again. Now it is all I can think about, only put 120 hours on my boat in the last 4 years. I hope to get to do some hunting in the upper states where the deer are huge. I do some in south Georgia which is nice.

Hey all,
I'm Pat and currently still in coastal VA. Originally from Texas and looking for a way to get back home. I retired here after 30 years and my kids want to finish college with in-state tuition so I'm here for a couple more years
Hope to meet you around the campfire some time.

My name is Gerald, I am from Sidney, NE. Home of Cabela's. I was born and raised in the Black Hills of SD and moved to Sidney in the 70's while still a teenager. I hunt mainly Mule deer here, but have taken my share of Whitetails when we were still in SD. I try to get in a CO Elk hunt each year, probably wont make it this year though. Outside of that we have good Pheasant, Goose, and Duck hunting here, and a lot of coyotes and Prairie Dogs. If I can't hunt, there is always fishing!

Hey I am from Rhode Island and 64 going on 65, I love to hunt but handicaps have held me down so I don't get out as much as I would like to. I use firearms hunting, a 30/06 and a 30/30 plus a 12ga. for turkey. I am going to So. Caroilina in Sept. for DEER and HOG wish me luck, I used to hunt deer and Bear in maine had success when I was younger, my last hunt was Nevada and a few years ago in New Hampshire. can't do spot and stalk or tree stand (unless built elevated stand) mostly blind hunting. Kudo' to all successful hunters out there. Be safe and above all be courteous to the lands you hunt on. Best wishes, Frank
