Some people say "age is in the mind..." but I say age can also be in the joints...knees, ankles...you know you're really gettin' old when your back goes out more than you do.

Hey ya'll, I'm Rob from West Central Ohio. My wife would tell you I spend more time on the water or in the woods than I do at home, so I am extremely happy that she is going hunting with me for the first time in our 20 years of marriage this fall in Texas. I love Deer and Duck hunting but my passion is competitive bass fishing. As a Navy vet I am extremely thankful for our service men and women today that provide us the freedom we have. I just hope our own government doesn't take it away! Good luck to all in your outdoor adventures.

Howdy ... I'm Al Fowler and I'm in a suburb of Los Angeles... Gardena... 15 miles from the downtown CESS POOL..... I'm 62 years old and my first hunt was about 2 years after I left Viet Nam.... it was a Pheasant hunt with my first shotgun on public land in central California... year was 1974.....I've hunted ever since... Pheasants, Dove, Quali, Chukker, Whitetail Deer ( in Northern Michigan 1994 ) Ducks and geese and recently a wild pig on private land in Northern California.... I've fished in both fresh and salt water since I was 6 years old and have taken most all the fish that can be had in this state and the local ocean and 1 trip to Loreto Mexico for Dorado ( biggest Dorado was 78#.... took me over an hour to land that one )... am now gearing up for the Dove Opener in the Salton Sea area of California...
Til next time... TAKE PRISONERS

My name is Patrick McGahey from Texas. I hunt mainly in Texas with any form of legal weapon. I am a prosthetist by trade and work for Hanger Orthotics and Prosthetics. I specialize in upper extremity prosthetics for the state of Texas market (30 facilities). recently returned from Haiti fitting patients from the earthquake. I love hunting all legal game animals in Texas and have been fortunate to hunt and fish in Alaska and Mexico as well. I hunt with my son and friends mainly and my son, Collin gets to do most of the shooting. I have been honored to work with a lot of veterans of the recent wars and some from older wars and have the greatest respect for all of our servicemen and women. They are the glue that keeps our country together and without them we would not exist as a country!

Hi my names Fred,( AKA gunslinger ) my friends call me brock im 70 yrs young served in the Viet Nam war 101 Air borne div 502 btl also ret from the NYPD am now living in Va, I have hunted and fished most of my life, love the the sports, i have always felt it my duty to teach all of my children and a lot of the younger children that i have had the pleasure to come in contact with through friends and family, all about fishing and hunting, and conservation. today i watched a hunting program about a family, of rabbit hunters, and the grandfather with tears in his eyes spoke about the fact that we stand a chance of loosing a whole generation of youth if we as parents, and responsible adults dont do something about this. So Isay we should all try to take a youngster out on hunting or fishing trip. let them see how much fun it can be to get out and be one with nature.
