Remember how Obama said that he wasn't going to take your guns?

Well, it seems that his allies in the anti-gun world have no problem with taking your ammo!

The bill 20 that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana )
requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture a data base of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers.

Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded.

Any privately held un-coded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011. (Including hand loaded ammo.)

They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more!

If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun! This legislation is currently pending in 18 states:

Alabama, Arizona , California ,Connecticut , Hawaii , Illinois ,

Indiana, Kentucky , Maryland , Mississippi , Missouri ,

New Jersey, New York , Pennsylvania , Rhode Island ,

South Carolina, Tennessee , and Washington .

I think everyone should contact our state officals and protest this bill because it will not the criminals just us I just emailed the govenor of Missouri and told him what I thought about this bill.

This goes along with H.R. 45 "the new Super Brady Law" that they are trying to get passed. I believe it makes felons out of all that get caught with ammo that is not coded. I guess this is the way the want to railroad the second ammendment!

If they want to declare me a felon for not givin up my ammo, I just as well give it to em out the end of the barrel- if i'm gonna lose my hunting and fishing privileges over unmarked ammo, then i'll be the best damn felon they ever saw! I'm fed up with these do-gooder politicians telling me what i can shoot, when i can shoot, where i can shoot, and how much their gonna charge me to do it...Enough is enough already! Too much government and not enough democracy to even call this America anymore! You kick a dog enough times he will bite It's a sad day in the world when they have to make decent law-abiding people criminals in the name of "crime-prevention"!  Our founding fathers would roll over in their graves if they saw what modern-day politicians are doing to the government they created! Too many people deciding what's best for all- I say we need to thin em out- clean house and start over!

Right on Jesse. As far as I'm concerned the after next election there shouldn't be an Incumbent still sitting... regardless of party.... Keep cleaning house until we have people in office that can balance a budget and LISTEN to the people.

Yep, I wrote and emailed all my representatives and senators when HR45 came about and they gave me the same balogney that Obama has; treated me like a mushroom: keepin me in the dark and feedin me bull!
